BIM - Parallab Spaces of Encounter transforms the former military compound from an enclosed fragment into an open civic landscape. Once isolated from the city, the site is reimagined as a permeable urban field where institutions, public life, and landscape coexist.

A diagonal public axis crosses the area, reconnecting the residential neighborhood with Rimini’s institutional and historic core. Along this new civic spine, a sequence of squares, green spaces, and public programs creates an open framework for everyday life — inspired by the continuity and openness of Rimini’s historic fabric.

Rather than a singular object, the project proposes a flexible and accessible system of public spaces that restores urban connections, strengthens civic identity, and returns collective value to the city.
